Sarafina Cattery is located in the middle of Denmark near the beautiful city of Odense.We started breeding and showing our Maine Coons in 1992. We strive to breed healthy, large Maine Coons with gentle and loving personalities. We breed all colors except for solid white.
Our kittens are raised with love and are ready to leave between 12-16 weeks old. The kittens have been health checked and have received their health certificate as well as being fully vaccinated. Our cats are not caged, but live in our whole house as family cats. Our garden is fenced and the cats can go out and in as they like.
We test all of our cats for Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD), and Hip Dysplasia (HD). Disclaimer: Screening for HCM and HD is currently the recommended method to aid in reducing the incidence of this genetic condition in our cats. Breeders can not guarantee that their cats will not have this condition. However, Sarafina can guarantee that we are dedicated to screening our breeding stock in a continued effort to produce healthy and sound Maine Coons to the best of our ability.
